Additionally, if you make a purchase from our site, the information obtained during your visit to these areas, and the information that you give such as your credit card number and contact information, is provided to the merchant of record. How is my personal information used by WR?

WR's goal in collecting personal information is to provide its customers with the most personalized web experience possible, and our advertisers, with an efficient means to reach the right audience. If I upload my resume, for what period of time will it be in the database?

Once the resume is uploaded, various industries looking for employees can view your qualifications and match them with their job descriptions. Worldrefractories will keep your resume for a maximum period of one year in the database.

Will WR use my information for direct mailings?

WR will send you information about our various products and services, that we feel may be of interest to you. You can remove yourself from this distribution list via a link in the communications we send you. Only WR (or agents working on behalf of WR and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings.

What are our policies for children?

WR is for business Professionals and usage by children is not intended. With that said, the safety of children is very important to us. Children (under age of 18), should always ask parents for permission before sending personal information to WR, or to anyone online for that matter.
